Our Story
Our Commitment to Craftsmanship
Welcome to Zookerman Woodworks
Craftsmanship is more than a skill—it’s a legacy, a tradition, and a story passed down through generations. At Zookerman Woodworks, we’ve carried that legacy forward with pride, and now we’re excited to share it in a new way.
As a young boy, I spent countless hours by my dad’s side, soaking in the art and trade of woodworking. My earliest memories are of tagging along with him to job sites as early as four years old, watching him transform raw wood into beautiful creations. My dad is a master carpenter with experience spanning new construction, remodeling, and furniture making. Those early lessons shaped not only my skills but also my deep passion for working with wood.
Over the years, I’ve honed my craft through hands-on experience in everything from manufacturing and construction to ranching and entrepreneurship. These experiences have helped shape the values that now guide our work at Zookerman Woodworks.
While we no longer build or sell finished outdoor furniture, we’re still committed to empowering others to build their own high-quality pieces. We now specialize in offering premium steel glider arms and downloadable digital plans for our handcrafted outdoor furniture designs. These are the very same designs we’ve refined over years of building and testing.
Zookerman Woodworks is family-owned and operated, and every product we offer is backed by generations of knowledge, care, and commitment to quality. Whether you’re a seasoned craftsman or a weekend DIYer, our parts and plans are designed to help you create furniture that’s both beautiful and built to last.
Thank you to our loyal customers for your continued support. And if you’re new here—welcome! We’re honored to help you carry on the tradition of craftsmanship in your own home.
